Ealing Housing Cooperative (EHC) is one of many housing cooperatives in the United Kingdom where individuals within the local community have formed a collective to acquire, manage,  and control housing stock from various sources to provide themselves with a realistic and viable alternative to rental accomodation within the private sector market.

Unlike a housing association, and as relatively small housing cooperative EHC does not have the advantage of possessing a team of full time staff and  is dependant on the efforts of its membership working together for mutual benefit to contribute to overall running of the cooperative in their spare time.

Members are housed depending on availability of property, their personal circumstances, length of membership, attendance of EHC Meetings, and personal contribution level in terms of participation within the cooperative.
